Cookie Policy

Mootmap itself sets no cookies. This page lists the little that is kept in your browser and the services that can use cookies: advertising from Google and Adsterra and, where it is switched on, visit measurement. Last revised on 5 October 2026.

Adsterra ads and measurement need your consent

A notice asks for your choice on the first visit. It covers the banners served by Adsterra and, where it is enabled, visit measurement with Google Analytics. If you decline, or do nothing, neither is loaded at all: no script, no cookie, no request, and the banner spaces stay empty. If you accept, they are loaded from then on.

You can change your mind at any time from Cookie settings in the footer. Declining afterwards stops the script from loading on later pages; cookies already set can be removed from your browser settings.

Strictly necessary

The hosting provider may use technical cookies or similar signals to protect the site from abuse. These are not used to profile you and do not need consent.

Advertising

Banners on the tool pages and in the articles are served by Adsterra, only after you accept the notice above. Each banner runs in its own frame: when it loads, Adsterra and its ad partners receive your IP address and the address of the page, and may set cookies to choose and measure ads. Their practices are described in Adsterra's privacy policy.

Advertising is also provided by Google AdSense. Its script is loaded on every page, so Google receives your IP address and the usual technical details of a web request, and Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show ads, measure them and limit how often you see the same one.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, ads are personalised only with your consent. That choice is asked by Google's own consent message, not by the notice about visit measurement, and you can reopen it from the link Google places at the bottom of the page. Anywhere, you can switch off personalised ads in Google's ad settings.

Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services. The site loads no social media trackers.
